  1. “WIERD THINGS?!?!” And to think, if I was old enough to vote, I would have considered to vote for Huckabee, and or influence what my parents voted for since that they don’t really care about who they voted for, BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!!!!

  2. Yeah “weird things”, we here in Washington State, have enough intelligence not to vote for you. Good things he is out.

  3. i hate ppl like this punk ass

  4. you get your “news” from fox, cnn, abc, nbc, and “News”papers. Ron Paul gets his news from the nsa, cia, fbi, dept. of justice, dept. of commerce, the u.s. treasury, and homeland security. Don’t forget hes a congressman america, hes just here to warn us, maybe even save us

  5. Simply wrong, my friend. simply wrong.

  6. i already know but thanks

  7. Yes it is.

Go to the Council of Foreign Affairs website, search “North American Union”. We may be voting this November for one of our LAST presidents.

  8. The KKK was just an extreme example that I knew you would immediately recognize as an exploitation of Christianity. Most times this sort of exploitation is much more subtle.

  9. Eh, let’s continue this fiery debate another time. I have duties to perform here at work. It was a pleasure arguing with you. Goodnight. I’ll reply next time I am on.

  10. This entire comment thread is on the legality of gay marraige, which Huckabee has said he will threaten with a Constitutional Amendment. You inserted a moral argument. Your morals are fine for yourself to have (to each their own), JUST AS LONG as they aren’t imposed on the rest of the populace through overreaching legislation which directly contradicts the principles of this country (all men are created equally & life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness).

  11. You did not level your statements at the kkk, you addressed me with them. I do not agree with bigotry of any form, but I will take up arms when i feel called upon to defend or serve my faith.

  12. Not to sound rude, but for the THIRD time I am going to say this: A legal recognition of a gay union is not of my concern, so long as it doesn’t happen in a church, or through a Christian ceremony. I am not arguing legalities, I am arguing moralities(Sorry about the rhyme, it wasn’t intentional). My faith does not label any human being as sinful, or as a sin. My faith simply states that what they are doing is wrong. I hate that my dad and brother are atheists yet love them as I love my gay buddy

  13. Me thinks you doth protest too much. I spoke in a general sense of people exploiting Christianity to justify their bigotry (think: the KKK & Westboro). That’s good that you were a friend to your friend. Jesus preached compassion as well. Too often people forget the core messages of Christianity, obsessed with the appearances of religiousity instead of being truly spiritual.

  14. Your example is extreme, but allowing the laws of this country to treat 10% of the population as 2nd class citizens just because your interpretation of your faith labels that class of people inherently sinful is an assault of sorts. There are an estimated 1100 rights conferred to married people denied to gays, including property rights in case of death where family members swoop in to take the home of a surviving gay partner regardless of the years, contesting wills & kicking them to the curb.

  15. But do tell them that I said “thank you” for the effort.

  16. How many times do you think I have busted into a Budhist temple, guns blazing, and forced everyone to repent to my God? None. I am giving my opinion on here, just as you are. If someone has busted through your door holding an assault rifle to your head telling you to believe me, and saying that they are in fact crazyworld113, I assure you, they are lying.

  17. Did I stop talking to my best friend when he came out of the closet? NO! I shouldered his burden with him and helped him figure things out! So, how about don’t twist what I am saying into bigotry. Jesus taught to love the person, not the sin. In fact, please don’t even debate with me if you are going to pick and choose parts of what I say to change my overall message!

  18. Arrgh, my comment didn’t post.

Witnessing for your spiritual faith is not achieved through imposing your will or values on others. That’s counterproductive & oppressive. You state your case, but ultimately you must accept the free will of those you encounter. We do not live in a theocracy, thank God & our forefathers. Treating others as you would wish to be treated means respecting their differences, being a good neighbor, being an ambassador of your faith, not an administrator of it.
